Today, the number has increased to two in five. There were 35 million SUVs in 2010, but today, there are more than 200 million SUVs all around the world.<\/p>\n<p>The carbon dioxide emission by SUVs alone in this period was 700 megatons, which is more than the total annual emissions of the Netherlands and the UK combined.
